Summer Church Planting Internships

One of the best ways to explore your calling to church planting is to participate in a summer church planting internship. Christ the King Presbyterian Church offers summer internships in Boston, not only one of America’s most historic and vibrant cities, but also one with a deep need for the gospel.

We’re looking for seminarians who have completed at least one year of study. You should sense a call to church planting in the PCA, confirmed through a formal process such as the MNA Church Planter Readiness Seminar. You should also be able to raise funds to cover living and ministry expenses in the city. (Current PCA pastors looking for a summer sabbatical focused on church planting are also welcome to apply.)

Summer church planting internships run for 8 to 10 weeks during the summer months. In the internship, you’ll explore and solidify your gifts and calling to church planting through meaningful opportunities for city engagement and ministry. You’ll grow in a deeper understanding of the gospel and its implications in your own life. And you’ll catch a vision for God’s kingdom advance in Boston. There will be plenty of time to enjoy the city, too.
